THE WEATHER HERE IN VA. !!!!!
on wednesday we hit around 85 here in central Virginia, this evening just before dark it was sleeting and snowing till about 9 p.m. gotta love the weather in virginia....anyone else getting some screwy weather?

Yep. Wednesday it was about 70 (for an hour anyway) and I was riding in a t-shirt. Today I was out plowing 10" of snow, and it's cold as a (fill-in-the-blank). 0 -

...yep, 10 inches of the snow here today and nobody could drive! We had about 15-18 accidents in 16 hours. BLAH!

Yes it is not good to be delivering mail in this.Of course the state and town crews help by knocking down many boxes.I think they get an extra bonus for this.When I get the last foot of snow out of my driveway,took out 8" yesterday afternoon, I head for work and wait for the truck to get there,so I can go play in the snow and try to deliver. 0 -

What part of central VA? I'm in the west central highlands of Alleghany county nestled in a holler alongside a creek in the mountains...8 miles from WV and yeh the weather sucks....but wouldn't be anywhere but here...

I'm in Virginia Beach. I rode my motorcycle down to the oceanfront Wednesday night and had to take off my jacket because it was too HOT! [8D] This morning, I went outdoors for about 2 minutes and nearly froze my A$$ off. Typical Virginia spring...but I still love it here and will take it any day over Upstate New York! [xx(] 0 -

i guess it would be better for me to say i'm in eastern central then, i'm right off of I-95 in Spotsylvania county. I'm in Richmond and had the same experience as you, Remington. I was stuck inside working all day Wednesday and then had the "pleasure" of my first colonoscopy on Thursday. What a waste of two beautiful days. Only good news was the colonoscopy showed nothing. It's back to beef & pork for me! 0 -

Yup, I sweated in a tee shirt to get lime and fertilizer in before the rain. Timing was good. Today it's in the mid 40s and windy.

I was scheduled for the range on Tuesday. Instead I switched with another guy from work for Saturday. Tuesday I was out in a T-shirt, and when I went to the range on Saturday, I was wearing 4 layers of clothing, and we had to hammer the ice out of the target frames to get them to turn.
I still managed to shoot a 228 out of a possible 250, in spite of looking like the Michelin man. I didn't get 3 rounds off (possible 15 points) due to a chunk of crud that had lodged in my slide rails [:(!]
Better it happen at the range than on the streets.0
