lose a gun? I mean just flat lost it, not get beat in a trade but lose it from a vehicle or such?

    Skipped skool,Went shooting with buddies,Left dads barrowed/stolen Ruger 22 Single Six on the roof and drove off.Got azz chewed,Ran ad in paper.Located pistol,Got azz chewed.Paid reward,replaced messed up grips w some pachmyres.Got azz chewed.Switched ammo so that wouldnt happen again.[:D][:D][:D]

    I nearly walked away from my 10-22 at the range this spring. Shooting buddy set me straight.

    Went out one morning before light with my hands full and set a 45 auto and holster on top of my truck. Put all my stuff in the truck and drove off. Never saw it again. Made me sick to my stomach. Reported it lost to the local sheriff just in case.

    Loaned on of my revolvers to the son of a buddy during deer season. He ended up sliding down a mountainside, and lost my S&W 686, and a camera in the process. He searched for it until it was dark, and three of us went back the next morning to search for it, but he couldn't find the area that he took his tumble. Reported it as lost to the local Sheriff's Office.
