Off to 'Hatlanta' tomorrow
Going to Atlanta tomorrow, probably leave in the early afternoon. It's a 7 hour drive if everything goes well. But I'll stop for lunch/dinner somewhere and the restroom stops will make it around 7-1/2 or 8 hours I'm sure. Maybe I'll try to get out of here before noon.
The company is the Harris Group. They are in a bind and are paying me an obscene amount of money for a short term job (4 months more than likely). They're near downtown Atlanta but I'll be staying in Norcross and taking the train in. Try to avoid the vehicular traffic jams, by experience I know there will be pedestrian jams too. People just don't know where they're going, even if they've been there hundreds of times, whether they're driving or walking.
I have an aquaintance with a condo in Midtown but I don't know where that is and if he'll rent it. Hmmmmm???

Come on down! I am on the west side. You are right about the traffic. I live 31 miles from work and it takes about 75-90 minutes to get in in the morning. [:(!] If you are looking for something to do while you are down here, I just started shooting IHMSA and it is a hoot and the people are great too. There are 2 clubs near Atlanta that have matches. First and Third Saturday's of every month. 0 -

Just remember, Georgia is the Peach State.
