GOOD COPS!! For A CHANGE....
...Ive stopped reading the bad mouthing cop posts pulled from the depths of some demented minds, there just so much bull...so here are a few GOOD ones....I know/known lots of LEO's and Fireman, ALL good people, PERIOD.

...I know a captain with the Dallas Fire Department. One day we were talking and I asked him how many people he had saved, he said several, but did not know the exact number. I asked him what kind of citations are handed out for them saving lives, he said "none".
...What??? "Why", I asked. He replied that "saving lives is just considered part of the job, the department doesn't feel recognition should be given for just doing one's job"...damn.
That policy has been changed for several years now and the fireman are recognized for any life saving heroics.
...BUT, you should get the point, cops, fireman risk their lives everyday, for US (even the demented)...and it's "just part of the job". ,... fireman, LEO's...I salute you all for doing a mostly thankless job, most don't have the nads to do...[;)]

i did a google search, and a search on snopes there is no such thing as this "good cop", they are all evil, corrupt, and un needed[;)]
besides one gave me a ticket for doing 65 in a 55mph zone0 -
I must be a lucky guy, I have never ran into a bad cop - had 1 verbal warning in 27 years of driving in the US, Europe, and Asia. 0 -
Thank you, I myself haven't bothered with any of those threads either.
Somebody just has a problem with authority and needs to deal with it.
Any way, as a peace officer, LEO, or whatever you want to call me I know first hand that the job is a total catch 22. No way to win. I just go about business and try to provide positive law enforcement experiences. However, some people just won't let me. They seem to be determined to have negative experiences. I figure if they do it is their own fault because I gave it an honest effort.
I have sat back and noticed how many of you honestly support local law enforcement and appreciate it greatly.0 -
The only cop the ever pissed me off was One Bullet Barney Fife... and that was because I kept getting hurt from falling off the couch laughing.... 0
