S&W 41 date of mfg?
serial 10675, model 41 any info appreciated, as always

S&W automatic serial numbers began in 1954 with number 1001 and reached 115000 in 1970. Thats about 7,000 guns a year. I would guess yours was made about mid 1955.
After that they began putting an "A" in front of the numbers beginning in 1970.
