    Bones, you said that the trigger was light, have you measured it yet?
    Do you have a possable round count?
    Is the front sight also bomar?
    how much does it weigh?

    I have not measured the trigger yet, Tomorrow I will do that and get you the overall weight. I know the rear sight is bo-mar, i don't know about the front. Ill get a picture up in a few minutes and one of the more knowledgeable members can possibly identify it. I have no clue as to round count, im not the original owner but i think its low. the original owner used a contender almost exclusively for silhouette.

    The knob on the back screws out, i guess for inserts? but i dont know. If you need to know anything else Ill try my best to answer, and Ill get those weights to you tomorrow.

    the gun weighs in at 4.5 pounds and the trigger is approx. 1.5 pounds

    Thanks for the info Bones, I need to do some beg-borrow-stealing for this one, plus I need to see if a XP is on the California State Department of Justice Bureau of Firearms approved handgun list. Nothing can come into CA unless it is on the list, and the list changes quite often.
