    A dealer in St.Joe Mo. had one for close to a year ... the case was a little scratched up but the rifle was immaculate. Last I heard he was at $9,000 for it. If you're interested I'll give him a call and see if he still has it.

    What exactly are the differences between a PSG1 and a early 80s imported '91? I ask 'cause I saw a new-in-box '91 that was still in the shipping carton not too long ago. Dealer that had it had to break the tape to confirm serial, etc. before entering it in his log book. Ended up selling for $2700....

    The PSG1 is a sniper grade rifle, 24" hammer forged polyogynal barrel, reinforced receiver with forward assist for quiet chambering, adjustable stock, welded scope tabs and no iron sights, completely different fire-control group ... Its a whole different gun based on the same pricipals. The HK-91 is a military "style" battle rifle. $2,700 is about average for a NIB '91 when you can find them.

    I've seen the PSG1 bring upwards of $14,000 but not for several years ... market trend sets the price.
