Am I Insane?

Sitting here at my computer thinking about going to bed, I look over and I have 5 guns on my bed (2 that are loaded and ready to rock and roll)!

They have been there since saturday when I went to the range (I have a queen size bed and I am single so there is plenty of room).

Am I insane for not giving any thought about having all these guns just laying on my bed?

    Actually I have not looked but I think my average is still over 16 posts per day![;)]

    I don't leave my guns laying around....not that you aren't on top of things.....but guns are best kept out of site as much as possible. It keeps the chances of an accident from ever happening the more cautious you are. There is a room with only me and Larry having the key and a couple carry guns in places that aren't messed with by anyone but us....other than that the only thing to tell you that we are "gun people" are the books and magizines laying around.

    My kids have buddies over every once in a while.....you never can plan when one of these buddies may end up over unexpectedly is one reason....the others are just horrific scenes played out in my mind that I just never want to see come true.

    You can never be too careful. I think of you as a friend and I'm telling you as a friend now......put away the guns and don't keep them loaded unless you are carrying it and even then...you can never be too careful.

    Mine are normally put away as well. These are still out because I have not cleaned them yet from our day at the range.

    Also it is not like they are just guns laying there. They are in thier boxes and such (except one which is the one I have been carrying).

    They all will get cleaned and put away today.[:D]

    Now as far as crazy goes....put bunches of them in your car and drive around with them....lay them around your work and home....and then dream about them when you sleep....I know I'm nuts.

    Loaded guns laying on the bed with kids running around. Yes you are nuts. Get them unloaded. Guns in the shop, guns in the den, guns in the truck, a gun in the wood shed a gun in my belt (the only loaded one) I'm nuts too. [:p] [}:)]

    Kids have not been left alone in the house with them out.[;)]

    And if they had my kids will not touch them. I have tested them on this a few times by leaving a gun on the counter when they have thought I could not see them. My kids do not even pay any attention to it. They have allways had guns around them and it is just another part of life that they see just about every single day.

    Also my room is kind of my den as well. My TV, computer, and anything else I might be doing is right here in my room. This is because I am not into watching Spongebob Squarepants and the likes![;)][;)]

    Nah, Insane is the cop that pulled me over in VAn Wert Ohio back in Feb. when I was going to a gunshow up north with a dozen or so guns laying on the back seat... He looked at them, asked me where I was going, gave me a ticket, told me an easier way to get to the show, told me not to speed in Van Wart for at least a year and have a nice day!!! That is insane!!!
