Wounded three if my mind servers me. I don't disagree the cops should of done their research and should see some consequences in terms of jail, however I don't blame them for shooting her after she fired at them.
That's just from what I've read on here. I've done no in depth research about it since I could give a crap about that case.
Bondai the only reason why I said that was because I'll I've seen from you is alot of cop hate. Some are worse then criminals I agree, but there are more just trying to do their job honestly.0 -
Here in nearby Dayton...police raided the wrong house. the dude that lived there was sitting at the kitchen table cleaning a hand gun Disassembled frame in hand. They shot him to pieces.. ruled an unfortunate accident....This 15-20 yrs ago!!! 0 -

Bondai took a beating yesterday on another of his anti-cop Tourette's posts and is now fishing for a fresh audience. He's now dug up and dragged out this dead horse, apparently because it was such a hot button issue last year, but notice that he only saw fit to post one sentence from the article and didn't supply a link?
By doing so he neglected to inform us that in addition to the entire division being canned, criminal dispositions have been reached on two of the three former officers involved. They're currently awaiting sentencing of up to 20 yrs. each and the third is about to go to trial. This is old news.
Once again, bondai's trying to yank something of his by yanking people's chains here. He absolutely HAS to have affirmation.

Great, so we've got another anti-law enforcement hose bag in our forum. I'm beginning to think that while my life after serving the public for 20+ is really good, your life must absolutely suck. Coincidently, on July 28th, I'll be celebrating my 20th year serving the same municipality. I plan on retiring in 5 yrs, at age 51...God willing.
With the Memorial Day holiday coming up, we need to give thanks to those who have paid the ultimate price in order for us US citizens to continue to express ourselves freely.

...I do not understand "why" we need LEO's! WHAT purpose do they "serve"?? ALL they do is drive around and eat donuts, and give people tickets for "only" breaking traffic laws; and arrest a murderer now in then, if they have to.

I am totally pro-police, but I do think that cites try to cover this stuff up as soon as possible.
There was an incident in CA back in the 1980 where they stormed a wealthy mans home thinking he was growing pot on his land. The state wanted the land bad for the parks and they killed the guy.
They found nothing on the land. All the agencies were involved in the raid and its was embaressing to everyone.
I think it would be better to make them knock on the door or wait until the people left the home to make an arrest. This storm trooper mentality is out of control, in my opinion.
I would rather see some drugs flushed down the toilet than the growing number of inocent people shot trying to defend their homes. This is SS tactics and reflects the growning number of federal police agencies that we seem to need within each and every department of out massive federal government.0 -

Guess you hadn't travelled to other countries much. Some countries you have to watch out more for the police than the criminals. Mexico comes to mind.0 -

I worked with police officers on just about every shift I worked as a Paramedic over a 13 year period.
I found most of the officers to be dedicated to their jobs. Sure, there were a few dips****, but then, we had a few Paramedics who were dips****.
On several occasions, I saw police officers risk their lives to help out the civilians that they are sworn to protect and serve.
Tell me, bondai, have you ever risked your life to help someone out?0
