American Handgunner...
I hadn't read a firearms magazine for about 5 years or so. I had to kill some time waiting for wifey in town, so I bought this month's copy to read while I waited for her.
What a waste of time and money. Same old crap - the writers have never met a (free) gun they didn't like. Same old writers saying the same old thing.
I really should have known better.
Next time I'll just set fire to my money and I'll get more entertainment.

Doug, that is the whole reason I stopped my subcriptions to all Gun, car and motorcycle mags. It is really nothing but the same old rehashed crap every month. I now read a mag in under 10 min, thats all the time you need to read anything that is new. 0 -
It is a pos magazine, and so is guns and ammo w/know it all craig boddington what a joke..I had subsciptions to both, american handgunner for only a yr,the other several yrs, after Colonel Cooper passed away..so did my subscription, Loko 0 -
Rather than setting fire to your money, you could just send it to me. 0 -
I remember what magazines were like when I was a kid... Take HotRod... buy three consecutive issues and you had a complete project with enough details included that even a monkey could have handled it easily!! Today 189 pgs. of ads and an couple of pics and you can purchase the project details for $69.95..
I will note that Shooting Times does have a handy Gunsmith tip every month. Very detailed. Several have proven very useful to me. But unless you like pulling old rifles out of the hereafter and breathing new life into them, like I do, even that may be worthless to you....0
