Any of you guys ever stationed at....

I picked up some very colorful pillow covers ( ones you sent your wife) Circa 30's-40's
Very nice shape!!! Very nice shape and suitable for framing.... If you were there let me know, have 3

Also I have some Howe Military School stuff that might go in the future as well ( ain't made up my mind on that one as I am a Howe....But may give to a poster that was there if not a PITA like me around here!!! 0 -
Was never there, but received new mortar tube from Anniston Army Depot, for repair jobs. 0 -
I used to know this older guy in my home town. (Passed on now.) He took his Infantry training there at Ft. McClellan. He told me once that the saying there was, "If you go to McClellan, make sure you are in good graces with your Congressman. If you are sent to Camp Polk, make sure you're in good graces with God." 0 -
i live about 3 miles from what used to be the fort. they closed Ft McClellan several years ago. now just called mcclellan the govt gave it to the city and they have ruined the place. built up on the golf course and selling townhouses and building Lowes the cops harrass people lots when a person goes through there. it really sucks now. lots worse than when it was an army base. 0 -
I've never been there but I collect old post cards. I'd love to see it go to a vet that was stationed there, but if you throw it open to all, count me in. 0 -

I think you read it wrong these a not post cards they are those old Silk pillow covers that were never made into pillows. in supper shape ready to frame or make into a pillow for that matter...

I was stationed at Ft Knox from 1983 to 1985. Nice post, until they ran you up and down Agony and Misery. They were the steepest tank trails I'd ever had to run on. Killers! 0 -
