Billy Bob and Luther were talking one afternoon when Billy Bob tells Luther,
"Ya know, I reckon I'm 'bout ready for a vacation. Only this year I'm gonna do it a little different. The last few years, I took your advice about where to go. Three years ago you said to go to Hawaii. I went to Hawaii and Earlene got pregnant. Then two years ago, you told me to go to the Bahamas, and Earlene got pregnant again. Last year you suggested Tahiti and darned if Earlene didn't get pregnant again."
Luther asks Billy Bob, "So, what you gonna do this year that's different?"
Billy Bob says, "This year I'm taking Earlene with me."0 -
Going on vacation next week, going to visit Tucson AR,Grand Canyon,Las Vegas and Area 51.Thought while I was down that far I would go across into Mexico and maybe shop.Whats the deal about ID etc.I dont want to drive across but walk, and park on this side. Are there proper parking areas, the reason I ask is because we will be camping and the car will be loaded and I normally take a rifle or two play with while I am away so I certainly dont want to get ripped off in a bad part of town.Any one know the best places to cross,I would lik to cross as close to Tucson as possible.

I was on vacation last week. I had a family reunion in Indiana. I visited relatives in Illinois and my Sis in Sparta Tennessee, about ten miles above Sparta, way up in the mountains in the middle of nowhere there is a graveyard where my dad and a lot of family are buried. Sis took us up there to see Dads headstone. We had not been there since the funeral . We get out of the car and up the hill there was a flock of turkeys about 30 birds. I got a couple of pics but it doesn't show how enormous this flock was. Any way I thought it was really cool that they where there.

Driving from West Virginia to Maine for vacation, will be heading back Saturday July 4th. Was wanting to stop on our way back for the night to enjoy the 4th. Any stops you'd recommend from Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York? 0 -
Well, I'm on vacation! You see, Mrs NJRETCOP and her sister went to Las Vegas for the week, (her sister is a convention delegate). Soooo, that means I'm on vacation too, hehe.
Anybody know an 18 year old blonde who isn't busy this week (prefer female, lol)

Here's the lineup with the bands I plan on seeing bolded. Too much music to digest. I love festivals. They'd be a lot better without hippies, though.

Freaks/Hippies/dirtbags make up half the people. The other half are just regular people out to have a good time.
I've been going for about...5 years now, and have never seen one act of violence, or theft. My buddy did see a guy OD once, and saved his life(not certain if it was OD or heat stroke, but the man was aspirating, and it was probably a combination).
Regardless...I go for the music, and I never come home disappointed.

Kings of Leon are actual Rock and Roll. That's just good stuff, man.
Not so much into Tool. Never actually heard any of Flaming Lips' stuff, but ya gotta love the name.
White Stripes RULE.
I don't like the police. Cuz, you know, bondai don't.0 -
If thats the tour that I'm thinking it is, a friend of mine is going to see it somewhere in Minnasota in August. 0 -
Tool is intense and remind me of modern day Pink Floyd
White Stripes Rock!0 -
I've seen Kings of Leon twice and they do always rock. I'm excited to see John Paul Jones, because I never got to see Led Zep(of course). This is a one-time festival, and still holds the title of the biggest, and best annual music festival in the world.
I'd never seen a burlesque show until last year. Pasties and all, they are really talented, and put modern day strippers to shame.

Did you see them on tour with the openning act XTC? I saw that tour and after that show I became a lifelong XTC fan. They blew the Police away and are responsible for some of the most interesting music out there.0
