    When I was living in Connecticut, there was a movement up there to have all the New England states seceed.
    Anybody in the NE know if this is still afoot?

    there's a christian group here in SC that want to secede here by 2015, and create a christian state, guess i won't have my guns no more but I'll move to a neighboring state if that happens?????

    That would be GREAT! The NE is a lot of what is wrong with the US!

    For all the same reasons that the Southern states left the first time: we've lost the ability to make decisions and lead and govern at the state level. Too much Government and Governing is coming from the top. States need to step up and look out for themselves instead of waiting/relying on the Federal government to do so.
