Holy Shiznit!

I worked with this guy for 2 months! And hes been calling out sick all the time!! I thought this guy was cool, i talked with him all the time, He was my friend! You never can tell!!!! I was asking him all kinds of questions about becoming a Corrections Officer! I asked him how good the money was, He told me, it was awesome!

To make things a little more clear, He worked Corrections full time, and worked Security with me, on the weekends.

State corrections officer arrested for selling drugs to inmates
LARGO -- Authorities arrested a corrections officer Tuesday on charges that he sold drugs to inmates at the Largo Road Prison, a state-run minimum security facility at 5201 Ulmerton Road in Largo.

Kevin Rix, 24, hired as a corrections officer in 2005, was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on charges of unlawful compensation, introducing contraband into a prison system and trafficking in cocaine. His arrest comes after a three-month undercover investigation.

"We are determined not to have the integrity of the department undermined by this sort of individual," Department of Corrections Secretary James R. McDonough said in a statement.

    I actually got moved to a more secure site, so now i get my own little building, but no internet. I have to check ID's, inspect vehicles, ask people where theyre going, and verify paperwork and stuff.

    After many years in Corrections, I can say that I knew who the dirty officers were. And almost without exception they were locked in to "the clique" and were untouchable.

    No one dared speak up, and that's how it goes.

    Glad this guy got what he had coming. Dirty COs bring down the whole profession, which isn't held in very high regard as it is.

    Yea it could be worse.... a dude that I workrd with for twelve years (and thought was cool) in jail for very sex related crimes with children... Of course the name of the kids was withheld but the one that I do know ( a sweetheart too) was 11 @ the time... I hear he only got Two years... I hope he relocates when he gets out... I might not be so likeable if I see him even look at this special young lady....
