1st weekend of each month there is a local auction from chickens horses and anything anyone cares to bring in tools cars trucks well any thing can show up
my wife went then called me they had the normal two auctioneers on opposite ends of the grounds she wanted to buy some chickens but they also had 20 or so bags of scotts grass seed on the other end , my son wanted some and we have a few areas needing seeded
so I went over to help ( bad call on her part )
I bought a truck load of items ( Ok two I had to get my other pick up to get it all home [:I]
I bought a older steel table craftsman 10" table saw 12.00 a older steel bed craftsman band saw maybe 12 or 14 inch for 10.00

Oh I did remember to buy the grass seed eight bags from 11.00 to 20.00 a bag depending on when I jumped in to buy it
I was bidding on a box of cast iron skillets 4 or 5 in the box one griswald looked to be a 14 "at least and one Wagner 12" and several smaller I did not look to see made them . I went to 80.00
then let them go 85.00 bought the box . that was almost as much as I spent on all the tools combined [B)] my wife walked up about then as I was bidding on the cast iron I did not see her [:0]

Just got in from an estate auction. The guy was an old west/ comic book/ pulp collector. I spent 140.00 and came home with a lot of realy neat stuff. I got 3 nice original Doc Savage Pulps including the super rare final issue from 1949. and an April 36 issue. Also got a lot of 1920s-40s Western pulps like Big Book, 44 western and Flying Aces True Detectiv3es from the 30s a few 50s Lone Ranger Comics and other stuff. I bought a total of around 150 pulp magazines and books. Astounding, Amazing Story, Monsters and so on.
The Doc Savage Summer 49 sells for around 300.00. Also picked up a first edition Tom Cobett Space Cadet published in 1951
