Mrs. Clinton was Mr. Clinton's moral compass.
Mr. Clinton obviously was ashamed of his adulterous behavior, and was no doubt pointed in this direction by his Moral Compass. Therefore it is logical to assume that Mrs. Clinton believes adultery to be shameful and immoral. The evidence also seems to show that Mrs. Clinton has accepted Mr. Clinton's adulterous behavior, which suggests that whether or not she believes it to be 'perfectly natural', she at least believes it to be forgivable.
When all is said and done, Chelsea was allowed to mature in an intact, though possible dysfunctional, family. Something Gingrich, Giuliani, McCain and Thompson (for example) did not provide for their children.0 -

If they want to do that, that is there given right to be different.

What I believe is one thing. I, however, would not want someone's morals be pressed upon me. I do not believe that homosexuality is moral or even natural. To me, it is an abhorrant deviance, sexual dysphunction. Like bestiality.
However, it is not because "Bible said it", or "Quoran said it", it is becase me. Dmitry considers it so.
Having said that, I recognize that we live IN USA!!!. Country that have separated Church and State. In the privacy of their home, to concenting adults may do what they please. However, I find "Gay pride" parade and symbolism offencive. How come there is no "Straight Pride" parade? How come there is no "Straight folks coalition"? Why do we need to have people shove their Gayness into our faces? You want to be gay? Fine, do it at the privacy of your own home, so nobody can see it or hear it.
As far as adultery. I have NEVER cheated on any of my girlfriends. I have never cheated on my wife. Not because I believe it is immoral.
Morality is but an illusion and it is a limitation that hinders our freedoms and our free will. It is because I, myself and I consider betrayal just plain WRONG and Dishonorable. However, faithfulness to a wife or husband, or lack of thereoff, are an INDIVIDUAL RIGHT AND CHOICE.
Frankly, I DO NOT CARE if the country is run by an adulterer. I do not care WHO runs the country. If the country goes in a right direction, I will vote vor Marwin the Martian, Garfield the Cat,
Che Gevarra or anyone, as long as they guide the country in the direction that I consider right.
As far as Clintons not getting divorce. it is MY personal opinion (only OPINION, no more or no less) that it is better for the child to live WITH BOTH PARENTS in his life. Think about it, in most cases, the sexual attraction between partners fades after 3-5 years.
If there is a child involved, a divorce is a very selfish thing to do, you should take care of the CHILD, and think about your sexual satisfaction later. I applaud Clintons for staying together.
Still, I will vote for O'Bama. Better him then Hillary.0 -
Having been in Mrs. Clinton's position (to some degree), I can fully understand the motivation behind "staying in the marriage despite the affair"....
She did what she felt was the right thing to do at the time, regardless of her motivation, I did the same thing. Kids are involved. You can't trash their lives over a spouses stupidity, sometimes you have to be the bigger person....0 -

The beauty of having no moral compass or personal boundries is you can swing any way you want. You can agree with any group of folk to get their vote and then go across the street and agree with another group who have the opposite opinion and get their vote too. Half the people in this country are not bright enough to see the difference.
Hillary stands for nothing except holding her finger in the air to test the winds of change and picking up that scent. Its all about getting elected not about having any personal standards. She has none. Works kind of like a Parrot, plays back what it hears.0 -
Their "relationship" is, and has been for a long time, strickly a business relationship, IMO. They needed to stay together for the benefit of each ones career....and still do. Don't kid yourself for one moment that they did it for Chelsea. They've made a business plan and stuck to it. Does anyone here think they'd terminate a business because their partner cheated on his wife? Nope. Same situation. He's been getting different "tail" for 25-30yrs now and Hillary has know about everyone of them.

I don't believe in their life styles either but I do know one thing given the choice between living next door to a whole community of gays as compaired to living next door to just one redneck Bubba and family with his 12 screaming brats or next door to the Jacksons I'll take the gays anyday. The majority of them have good jobs, nice houses, new cars with yards that are well trimmed and they're nice people. You also don't have to worry about'em hitting on your wife or girl friends when you're not around. What better neighbors could anyone ask for.

Smitty. They make damm good tenants too. Fix up the place instead of tearing it up,pay rents on time,most are long term tenants that let you know (quietly) when something needs fixing and very seldom cause any trouble,and when they do move leave the place neat as a pin,saving you the cost of cleanup. Onlyst time I can remember having problems was a biach fight whem two of them rammed anothers head through the drywall and left him stuck there. [:D] (I'd a liked to seen that fight)[}:)] (at that they had it repaired themseles and I only heard about it afterward) I don't care what they get up to in there. Long as it's private. My take on the "gay pride" folks that like to get in your face is to compare them to the so called "outlaw" bikers that'll kiss each other in public.....shock value! ignore them. They are laughing at you.

I haven't saw anything much from either party in the last couple of elections. With all respect to the dubya worshippers but can you really compare him to say... tricky Dick Nixon or Ronnie Reagan? Or even his Father?
I'm fully behind some way to voice our disapproval of whatever candidate is chosen to run. Can't see that happening either though.
Maybe we should go back to letting the one with the most votes get the president's title and the runner up become second in command and so on down the line. Might get rid of some of those career hacks that have become entrenched in Washington. NAH they'll give us the line that "experience" counts. It does....when it comes to lining your own pockets by stealing from the taxpayers.

That said, I think homosexuality is a birth defect, I wont make fun of someone with 3 chromosome 21's (down syndrome), or someone whose mamma drank too much.
For some reason or another they were born that way. I think a pride parade is just as stupid as a diabetes pride parade. Trying to normalize it or accept it is ridiculous.
