Who is Voting for Hillary?
Today is "Ask a Stupid Question Day"
So I figured I'd get it going with the stupidest one right off the bat!!!
Ask a Stupid Question Day is a holiday that is sometimes celebrated in the United States, usually by school students and teachers.[1] Although Ask a Stupid Question Day takes place on September 28, it is usually observed on the last school day of September....Wikipedia

An Irish chronicler of roughly the 10th century, attempting to describe the horrors that the vikings were inflicting on his country, wrote something which I will now blatantly steal and mutilate for my own petty purposes:
"Though there were a thousand suffering bodies, and upon each body a thousand bloodied heads, and each head had a thousand mouths gaping in woe, and though each mouth had a thousand tongues dripping sorrow, and each tongue a thousand voices lamenting the destruction wrought upon our fair land....
"Not one voice would be raised to say that that was as bad as Hillary becoming President."
You can consider that a "No, I don't think so."
Though, perhaps, I'm blowing this just slightly out of proportion. [:p]0 -

Random info for the day: Some of "The Vikings" were actually the "secret service" of the failed "Byzantine Empire", The Varangian Guard. They were the MERCS brought in from up north to provide security for byzantine nobles. Just like the pretorian guard, they betrayed their masters and wanted to get rich and establish their own kingdom.0 -
I have a pair of lesbian friends who think Hitlery is the bee's knees, and will vote for her if given a chance. And, I have some Democrat relatives in Arkansas who would vote for Satan himself if he ran as a Democrat. They were so tickled when Slick Willie was elected, as though he was their next door neighbor or something, even though he ran out on his term as governor, which he promised he would not do. They will love Hitlery just as well, I reckon. 0 -

I am sure that if I die before November 2008, I will vote for Hillary. We had 150 dead people vote for Democrats in the last election. 0 -

Not going to vote for her, but she does have a chance, so if she was to be the next president, what would she do? Taxes would go up for sure, illegals immigrant, would no longer be illegals. Scares the fecies out of me, might have to pack my backs and go back to Finland. 0 -
Don't even give a thought to anyone offing her if she wins.
She will have Osama Bin Bama as here VP just to protect herself.
What a pair that will be.
Remember, she will have all web pages and their content, every word posted in her possession so be prepared to change your name and address and move to the Republic of Texas when it succeeds from the union on her inauguration day.

And the same vikings (Varangian Guardsmen) changed the course of history. The King of Norway in 1066 A.D. was Harald Hardrada, who had served since his teens in the Varangian Guard after being driven out of Norway following the death of his uncle, King Olaf (the Second, I believe, but don't quote me on that). Political circumstances made it possible for Harald to reclaim the Norwegian throne, from which position of power he launched an invasion of England in 1066. He and his army took the city of York, but were annihilated at the nearby village of Stamford Bridge after getting uproariously drunk and neglecting to post sentries to watch for the approaching English (whose king was also named Harold). The Norsemen ripped the English up pretty badly, and Harold of England was forced to make a hard march with a tired, bloodied army clear across the length of England when he received word that William of Normandy had landed his army near Hastings. Two weeks after defeating Harald Hardrada, Harold of England came close to defeating William -- but didn't, and lost his kingdom and his life.
With a fresh army, instead of one already tired and hurting....
Nothing to do with Hillary, except that we'll be the Saxons suffering under her Norman underlings if she gets elected. [:p]0 -

I hate Hillary only slightly more than I dislike Obama; I hope Edwards does an about-face somehow and gets the Dem. nomination. He'd be a crappy president but I wouldn't be terrified of him. Who'd ever have thought that Gore would look palatable by comparison to...well, anyone? Still..... I MIGHT choose Hillary over Dennis the mennace Kuccinich if forced to pick amongst the democrats.
Given my druthers, I'd like to see Sam Brownback but that ain't likely- or Newt- and that ain't likely. So I guess Fred Thomson would be my first choice, followed by Rudy- but heck, anyone but Hillary; I'd rather see McCain get it than the wicked witch!0 -
