Everyone likes pictures.
I really enjoyed wundudnee's pictures of home, and I have a place of 10 1/2 acres that I'm pretty proud of as well, so I hopped on my Polaris with camera in hand and went around my place to snap a few pics. Hope you enjoy.
The first is of our house and my shop/garage,
Here is the other side of the garage,
and our storage shed and windmill,
This year, with the help of my new mower, I have cleaned up what use to be pasture full of weeds and brush. This is my playground.
There are a bunch of rocks in one area of my playground were once stood a old farmstead back in the early 1800's. You can still see part of the path the pioneers used to get there. Here are some of those rocks.
The last photo, my boys found this statue in the ditch were somebody discarded it. We're not catholic, but anything helps these days.[:D]

And finally, my view to the south.

Funny you say that. My nieghbor is a retired state trooper who was one of the state snipers. Between him and I the folks in town say it sounds like WW3 out here. We say good, no one will come messin' around.0 -

sarge - it's beautiful, I hope you enjoy it for a long time.
Jim - I used to camp in the snow at Eagle Lakes. I never was sure whether it was forbidden, but we always had a blast. Crown Royal and snow is good. Lived in Sparks at the time.
There was a high cholesterol eatin' place on the way to Susanville.
