Its been a bit, it does not seem like a month the has passed since my dad has passed away. Its been hard enough. I know he's not in pain any longer, and he's with my mom, it got to me the other day, I had to start cleaning out his garage, a lot of memories, all the times me and my dad had rebuilding the jeep, all the fishing, hunting. The wife got mad at me because I refused to get up and start taking stuff, not that I want, but stuff she wants. I've got three sister, I found out my mom was not buried with her wedding band, before they closed the casket, she told the undertaker to remove her wedding band and give it to her, my dad walked o er to the casket to find out why it was not lowered yet, he noticed mom no longer had her wedding band on, before they shut off the ventilator, this sister went out to the house and took his wedding band. At the viewing I ask my oldest sister, where was dads wedding band. That was when I found out what this snake had done, and to make it worse, she wore it around her neck, for the four years following my mom s deat years, she wore it, every time she went to see my dad, he would get mad, I did not know why, finally my oldest met her at the back door, she told the graverobber, either you take the rings off, because if I do you will have a scar from the chain when I rip it off. She took it off, but until my dads death, I knew nothing. Pretty bad to have a grave robber in the family.
Before my dad had passed away he told me to take his guns & tools, he said son i can't shoot my guns and can't turn Wrench's any longer. My aunt over heard this discussion. Thank god for that, the grave robbers husbands wanted the guns, but being the only son, dad gave them to me! The son in law thought he had claim, he tried to take the tractor, and other stuff. When I was going through the garage I was making a list for my nephew's, giving them tools that I already had, knowing my dad would feel good about me giving my nephews tools and stuff from the garage. I found out the grave robber was making plans to sell stuff on eBay. Got some pretty rotten family member, the other two sister are great. But they are step sister, but dad never thought of them adopted, my mom had them with her first husband, dad adopted both, and always loved them as his own, on the night that my dad was put on the ventilator, this sister got mad because she thought she should have made the call to put him on the ventilator, she could not understand, it had to be done then, not the new t day.
But you talk about greed, I thank god that my step sisters are great sisisters, other of them raised me when both mom and dad worked. Just like dad I love them like my own.
