Shooting 32 acp in a 32 H&R MAG
A buddy just bought a Ruger Single Six in 32 H&R Mag. The guy that had it before him was using 32 auto in the thing... Can this be done safely?

No. It will instantly kill the shooter.

Not good...always use what the gun is made for. Some caliburs may work to "cheat"...but it will mess up the gun if you do. 0 -
yes i've done it , the 32 acp is a semi-rimmed shell and works just fine in a single action
the 32 acp is a .309 dia bullet compared to a .312/.313 for the 32H&R mag , so the bullets is just a few thousands smaller that bore , its about like useing a 22 short in a 22 long rifle , accuracy many not be quite as good but it sure isn't going to hurt any thing , just clean the cylinder good after doing so to remove any crud that might be in there0 -
