Looking for Basement Floor Ideas
I'm almost finished with putting the second coat of Drylock on the basement walls. I'd like to do the floor (concrete, obviously) next. I'm looking for ideas as to what to do with it. I do not want carpet or tile. I'm thinking more along the lines of the stuff that is used to finish garage floors... the bluish paint with the shiny chips in it... I don't know what it's called, but I have seen kits for it. Has anyone used this kit? What do you recommend? The basement will be used as a recreation room in the future, so I'm looking for something other than battleship grey. Thanks.

I just sealed mine with that stuff that makes it sort of look like its wet.
Much cleaner down there now!
also, drylock is the stuff!0 -

Yeah... before I was married... when I first bought the place... at age 24... with all the fine tail this house has seen... all the wild parties of yesterday... yes, I agree... they would be cool... but not now. [:D]0
