...Gotta confess, Wade Philips gave me the jitters as the new coach and TO I was expecting to continue his dissruptive ways, but....4-0!!
...Very well balanced team. The defense is getting most of it's injured players returning now, have not played this season...so they are getting better.
...The difference you can see and FEEL if your local to Texas and a Cowboy fan is the DIFFERENCE in how the team acts/looks playing for Philips rather for Parcells. Under Parcells they looked robotic, stiff...not having any fun at all; not a good combination.
...Under Philips, they look like a bunch of kids playing pick-up football on the sandlot having FUN!..and they are winning, and winning big. Most total points scored by any offense this year to date.
...TO is being utilized and playing well...AND not causing any problems, he's having fun, they're all having fun. Hell, playing little last year he was still one of the top recievers with TD's and with ttl. rec. yds. over 1,000....he should far surpass that this year.
...Romo? My my what a great young talent. The play that the ball was snapped 3 feet over his head that he had to run back 30 YARDS to get to it, picked it up...and ran thru defensive players all after his young azz; not only made up the lost 30 yards the ball flew wildly..but picked up about five yards PAST the first down marker; for about a 45 yd. runback thru big mean guys wanting to kill him!
..and his escape and evade abilities are only surpassed by his passing accuracy and ability.
...No way to know what the rest of the season holds but, GO COWBOYS!

Wade Philips knows Defense that is for sure!!! Surely there is some of his dad's genes in him somewhere unless of course the mailman got lucky.... 0 -
Of course One must remember its still a couple weeks till the boys play their 1st real game against a real team! 0
