    For those of you with dial-up, the video is some sort of conference where lawyers discuss ways to LEGALLY disqualify Americans from jobs so that the employer can then hire an illegal and claim, "It's a job that an American won't do."

    One trick is if the salary request is too high, you can just throw the resume away. One of the speakers actually says that if all else fails, call the applicant in for an interview to find any reason at all to disqualify them.

    Worth watching. It will make you sick.[:(!]

    The more I learn about this whole illegal situation the more I'm
    convinced it is rotten all the way through our government. Too
    bad - I really think this is going to sink us as far as being what
    we once were - the greatest nation on Earth.

    You know how used car lots will advertise a really good deal on a car, and when you call they "just sold it" but have something else you might be interested in so come on down and we'll show you what we've got. And you can call a week later about the exact same car that they are still running the ad on and everyday they "just sold it today" and the same story...


    Well I kinda noticed that companies are doing that with job adds. Like you will see some add for a secretarial or records job, something that looks totally feasable with a decent low wage. You call about the add, and its some temp agency or some outbound telemarketing call center. They get you to spend time out of your day looking for a job to fill out an application and interview, then two days later, they call you back telling you (we don't have that job, but we have something else you might be interested in, when can you start?) And next thing you know, your working in an understaffed call center, or outbound telemarketing call center, and when you talk to the person in the cubical next to you, they got suckered by the same deal...

    Like seriously, there should be enforced law against that type of thing...

    The bill s1348 has been changed to s1639. Call your senator or house member and tell them whats on your mind.Stop waiting on the other guy to get things done.
