Picked up the new one (range report added)
I picked up my new pocket gun today.[:D]

Range Report:
First 50 rounds were pretty akward as I am not really a revolver person and the double action threw me off a little. Also I was shooting +P's and they seem to be a little much for that snubnose giving a bit of a recoil to it.
Second 50 round went pretty good with better grouping. I was still useing +P's but had a better idea of what to expect.
This target was the second group of 50 at 10 yards.

And before anybody comments on it:
Yes it is loaded in that picture! But I did not lean over the gun to take the picture, I used the picture screen on the back of the camera as I stood back![;)][:D]0 -

Thanks Kevin, I'll be looking forward to it.0 -
you should be careful doing stuff like that kev, dont you know taht guns have a habit of indiscriminatley going off of their own accord without manual interaction with the trigger?> 0 -
It's amazing that the evil loaded revolver didn't hunt you down and kill you.
I think we need National Firearms Law to prohibit your behavior !!

Nice piece.0 -
I have one just like it and it's my usual pocket gun. I've never had a problem with it. It's killed plenty of snakes. 0 -
This looks like one of those automatic machine revolvers that I hear so much about. Does it have the automatic loading clips as well? 0 -

How did you know it was a class III revolver?[;)][:D][:o)]0 -
Dont you know you should NEVER look down a barrel, even if its unloaded? 0 -

Read my coment above. I did not stand over the gun. I held my camera over it and used the LCD screen on the back to line the shot up.[;)]
I know better than to lean over a loaded gun like that.0 -
Nice pick-up there GRD! I will be awaiting the range report as well.

If nothing else I will go out in the back yard and shoot it a bit. It just depends on my time schedual today.
I got a busy day paying bills and I got to go buy me a new rideing lawn mower and also got my sons first T-ball practice tonight.
I did pick up 100 rounds of hollow point +p's for it at wal-mart last night for $25, so I got the ammo I just need the time.0 -
You should take that new 500 to the range as well. 0 -

Overall how would you consider the shooting experance?
I know your not a revolver person but how was the trigger? To Heavy or too soft? Did the trigger give you proper feedback?
Compaired to your RI Compact, how was the recoil?
Are the grips comfortable?0 -

I've been thinking about getting one of those, how well does it fit in your pocket? I want something as small as possible to pack in my pocket with one of those pocket clips similar to this.

Over all it shot pretty good once I got used to it.
It does have a long trigger pull to it and takes a bit more pressure than the RI Compact. I did find that I could pull the trigger to a little spot were I could hold it and set myself for the shot. I really don't know how to describ it thought. I Guess it would be a spot to were if you were shooting a double/single action and you cocked the hammer for single action shots.
The recoil was about like the RI compact but I'm sure it would be alot less if I had been useing standard loads rather than the +P's.
I definatly would recomend this gun as a good Consealed carry gun (which is exactly what I bought it for), but for my regular plinking I personally would rather shoot my 1911's. But those who like revolvers would probly enjoy this too.0 -
Thanks Kevin, I think it has just been moved up on my list[:D]
BTW: you too will grow to love revolvers, I know I did.0 -

It fits in my pocket great. I got a small holster (unkle mikes) that I have it in my front pocket with. Only the grip sticks out and my tshirt covers that with no problem. It will also fit all the way into my pocket if I wanted to do that and it does not bulge very much and is definatly not noticeable.0 -
Nice pistol.Thinking about getting a Charter 'off duty' for my wife because she dont like my AMT backup.Says its too bulky in her purse and she feels a little more comfortable with a wheel gun instead of an auto. From the looks of your target it seems to work just fine[:D] 0 -
I had to get larger grips for mine. 0
