Red Robin. They make it anyway I want. Sometimes like it with pepper jack, jalapenos, salsa, guac and fried onion. Sometimes with mustard, ketchup, relish, cheese, raw onion. But my mom's on Saturday night growing up were the best in the world. Her french fries rocked too.

We just got a RED ROBIN fairly close to us. Whenever the wife and I go to Greenville I have to have one, or BACKYARD BURGER. Other than that, my burgers are the best. 3 lbs ground beef/venison, 1 pack of lipton onion soup mix, salt, pepper, McCormick burger seasoning, some ketchup. Mix it all up with your hands and patty them out. Cook on low heat for 30 minutes then flip and cook on low heat for another 15. Put a slice of onion on the ones that want it and then cover them with sliced New York Sharp cheddar cheese. Serve it on a bakery bun with mayo, homemade chili, slice of onion, burger, tomato, lettuce and a little mustard on the underside of the top bun. Ketchup is a must.

I went to Duffy for lunch and got the Presido burger. It was good, but there was nothing exceptional about it. I'll have to go to the place out in Big Sur next time I go, I love going out there.

Their selection is good for burger variations. Although its been awhile since I was last there , I enjoyed it for many years.Rocky Point is ok.Deetjins and the River Inn in Big Sur are also worth a visit if you like casual. Post Ranch and Ventana, Cielo for 5 star dining.

Back home in Idaho Prices Corner was the best. I like Crown burgers in Utah, and ate at Carls Jr. today for the first time not bad for a fast food joint.

Used to be a small town malt stand down the road from me. They made the best burger around. 100% real beef, at least a pound of meat, mmmmmm mmmmmmm good. [:p]

By law, ALL hamburgers in the U.S. HAVE to be 100% real beef.

Hamburgers are my favorite food and I've eaten many different types. The best I have ever had by far is at the Country House in Clarendon Hills, Ill. 1/2 pound sirloin cooked to perfection.
