    Sounds like discrimination to me. He could probably fight it. But then if his landlord wants him out for any reason, he's probably better off to just find another place.
    I'd probably explore moving, and THEN SUEING for discrimination damages.

    Been there, done that. The duplex I had lived in for 2 YEARS got sold to a black lady who kept unlocking my gate and turning my dog loose. Cost me plenty to find him, once I had to take him from some wets and twice I had to bail him out of "doggy jail".

    She told me straight out that she "didn't like me havin' all dem guns" and that she preferred renting to mexicans.

    I complained to the City of Phoenix about it and as soon as she cried "racism" they suddenly couldn't give a shyt about my complaint.

    See, they had seen un-updated ownership records of the property showing a fella with an italian-sounding last name and were frothing at the mouth. When the records were updated to Shareece Roosevelt (or whatever her name was, it was 10 years ago) and they talked to her, then immediately there was "nothing they could do".

    Typical reverse racism BS. Nothing will be done.
