Need Help Please
Hi this is my first time on this selling and a person had bought an item off me . and i went to send him an invoice and i guess i don't know how to do it. could someone help me please on this one thank you

Long story short.
I have a guy that want's to rent my tractor and some hay baling equipment and I don't have a clue what I should charge him.
It will be figured by the hour.
1.Case IH 1594.
This is an 86 hp,2wd tractor w/cab and air.
I figure on him supplying the fuel,oil,etc.
2.Case IH 8460 round baler.
Again,he'll furnish the neccessary supplys.
3.New Holland 315 square baler.(She's old, but you'd never know it by the way she works and looks.)
I know there's somebody here that knows what it's worth on a rental basis.

I'd charge at least half per bale, based on what a bale's worth there.
That's just a personal opinion, and have no idea of what is normaly done.0 -

If you want your equipment torn up then rent it. You'll never get it back like it was, I don't care how nice of a guy he is. He can rent what he need's from a dealer. 0 -

I hire custom balers every year.
Ditto to what has already been written.
1. If he is baleing his own stuff, he can hire it cut and baled as cheap as he could rent and fuel the equipment.
2. If he wants to rent it to make money by baleing for others, he should buy his own equipment. (look at any piece of rental equipment) it is always in poor condition. People just do not take care of it 'cause it aint theirs.

Well,I guess I'll have'ta make the story a little longer.
Fact is,I started workin' with this guy last hay season and I do 99% of the work since he works 8-5 in town,so I'd be runnin' it all anyway.
He has all his own equipment,but we decided that in order to be able to cover more territory,I'd get my own setup and then be able to be at two places at the same time,per say.
Since I don't have ALL of the equipment I need just yet so that we can be equal as far as equipment goes(I still need a cutter,rake and at least one more tractor) and make it easier to divvy up the proceeds,I'm thinkin' I'd just continue to work at the same hourly wage and rent him my equipment whenever "I'm" usin' it.
Any ideas[?]
