HP printers and computers
i had had nothing but problems with hewlet packard computers and printers. my last HP printer/scanner broke and for some reason i bought another one. well today i had some important stuff to print and of course my printer kept screwing up and jamming and so on. well i taught it a lesson and broke it into 100 pieces. then i had to go buy another one. so i bought an Epson for 69 bucks, so far so good. i hate HP

Have owned nothing but HP printers for years and had no problems with any of them. Bought a HP printer/scanner/copier over a year ago for my puter and have had no problems
the old HP was hooked to the wife's computer and she uses it all the time.0 -
I have a HP laptop and printer without any problem. 0 -
I have an HP1020 and have to admit it is one of the best B/W printers I've ever owned. I've had other HP printers in the past, they've mostly worked great.
Epson makes the best QUALITY printing printers. However, you're going to find that when it comes time to change the ink, it is going to be a royal pain in the ass. Plus, unless they've changed something, having it go through the "clean" cycle each time you want to print (if you've not printed for a few days) is going to eat up more ink than you use.
The deal with Epson is that unlike most printers, the print heads are permanent, whereas in most printers the print heads are changed each time you change your ink.
Good luck with that.0 -
I have a HP 3 in 1 and a cheap Epson. Both work great. My only beef is buying the INK. What a ripoff! 0 -
I just bought a Okidata C5500 color laser printer last week. It is an awesome printer! Many of the reviews cited how bad people thought HPs quality was getting and were fed up with them resting on their laurels. This printer got top marks and scored 8+!
BTW: All you guys with cheap inkjets need to stop thinking like a democrat (not able to look towards the future). In the long run, it is cheaper to run a laser than an inkjet. On my last color laser ($399) the toner cartridges lasted over 3 years. Add up how much you spend in ink over time and you'll see inksplats are designed to sell you consumables.0 -
I like my HP's. I reload my inkjet carts. I don't do any fancy printing. I see that some of the new HP carts can't be reloaded. Printer is Free but Ink is Priceless. 0 -
my $69 epson is working better than my $345 HP so far. i didnt check where this epson is made but all my HP's were made in china 0 -
I love my HP Printers (Deskjet 520 and Phomosmart 750) and my HP Pavilion 5000 series laptop.
Never gave me any problems.
Canon and Epson printers are crap, if you ask me.
Canon especially - the ink comes in simple packages, and the ink-nozzles are in the printerhead where you put the inkcartridges.
Well, if one of these printers is left alone for just a month or so - the nozzles will eventually clog up and you need to change the entire printerhead... Now.. THAT'S pricey.!!0 -
Laser printers can make you ill. 0
