Moldy Boar head

Ok here's a weird one, I've got a shoulder mount of a Boar that I shot about 6 years ago. I just noticed that the inner edge of one ear has got a grayish white mold on it. I can brush some of the mold spore off the ear but not everything. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the stuff without damaging the mount? FYI the house is pretty dry and I don't have mold on other mounts, leather etc. Thanks.

  I'd call a taxidermist asap and ask him.
