I don't know about everyone else, but if I recognize that I agree with someone who I don't have any respect for, I usually try to sit down and think out the issue to see if I really believe it, or if I'm overlooking something. I don't usually try to infer something into it that was never said, then attack who said it, and, if I find I do believe the same as Mr./Mrs. X, then I admit they must be right for once![;)]

I too like and respect He Dog, but I think he inferred way too much in a simple statement, and I think he doesn't like being in the same camp with someone so vial as Fonda (nor would I). All of that let him go a little nuts and assume something that wasn't there.
Still, my statement above is the way I think. If someone who has opinions I find traitorist agrees with me, I want to rethink my stand. I may find the two of us agree, but I'm not going to go nuts and attack someone who brought up the fact that we agree. And I'm sure not going to start inferring that more was said other than the statement made.
Kind of like, "I don't like Jesse Jackson." Therefor, I must hate all blacks, be a racist, and if someone like Jesse, I must dislike them. That is a real stretch and not a wise logic.0 -

Well, I will say that I've been opposed to being in Iraq since day one and it DID set me off when I saw where she was involved and photographed the other day at the protest. She should stay home and quietly write a BIG check to the Fallen Heroes Fund and keep her mouth shut til the day she dies.
