Paid off my truck...
Back in 2005 I bought myself a new GMC pickup. It's a very nice truck and I've been very pleased with it. I've been debating about going ahead and paying it off, save some money on the interest and no monthly payment's anymore. I just hope I can keep myself from going down and getting another new one.

Actually, keep making that truck payment to yourself (seriously). Put it away in a bank somewhere that it can earn interest (money markets are about 5% now).
When it comes time to buy a new truck, you'll be able to pay cash for it. That's an awesome, powerful feeling, plus it makes the deal sweeter for the dealer (giving you a lower price).0 -

Mrs.Wins's truck will be paid off this month and mine will be done in July.
Gonna be nice not to have to come with that $800 each month.
Now, I just hope they'll keep runnin' a few more years.[;)]
