TGIF, 3 day weekend, and NO talk about BEER???
Well I'll start it off.
I just had a killer Scotch Ale that I bottled about 3 weeks ago (Jennifer's Ale). I tried it last week and the week before and it really wasn't very good (very bitter). But this week something magic happened and it really mellowed out! I am loving it and about to pop another one! I think this is probably around 6.5% alcohol judging by the taste.
I am also sampling my German AltBier tonight for the first time! I sure hope that's ready!

In my small hick town there is not much better to buy! You got to remember that I live out in the sticks and the closest town has a wopping 8000 people!

When the weather starts cooling off, we'll have some briskets in the smoker, roasts in the crockpot, etc.
Everyone I know says I need to go to culinary school to get my license. I cook nearly everything, including sauces, rubs, etc from scratch.0 -
