10/22 Stock and Barrel

We got in some of the SAVAGE .17 HMR rifles with the Accu-trigger, thumbhole stock and heavy barrel this week. They are tough. I looked long and hard at them and finally decided to snazz up my 10/22 instead. For close to what you pay for a box of 50 .17 HMR's I can buy 500 cheap .22 LR's. I want a wild laminated thumbhole stock and bull barrel. What brand of barrel do you guys recommend? I know I'm going with a Volquartsen fire group. Basically all I'm using is the Ruger receiver.

  I am using Green Mountain on the ones I am doing right now, the last one I had a Midway and was very happy with it. Checkout rimfirecentral.com if you haven't already, lots of good info and link.
