My son the idiot! :-)
Ran up to the store to get a bill of groceries. On the way back, I pass a young man walking. As I get even with him, I realize it's my youngest son. I stop and he climbs in the truck.[:0]
Seems he and his girlfriend were out tonight and they got into an argument. He let his red headed temper get the best of him, pulled over to the side of the road, jumped out of the truck cussing and kicking the ground.[:(!]
Her answer was to slide over in the drivers seat and drive off leaving him on foot![}:)]

An old fishing buddy of mine went fishing with me one night and his alcoholic girlfriend drove a car (drunk) off his property to get more beer. She had no license and the car wasn't registered yet. He found out from the guy that sold us the beer we picked up on the way back to his place. I dropped him off and he told her to leave. She left, got an axe and started going to town on his door and his truck. He "made up" (not really but she thought so) and "forgave" her. He took her fishing one day (about 6 miles down gravel road) and said "oh crap, I think I drove over a nail or something. Go check the rear tire on the passenger side!" As soon as she got out of the truck he took off. That woman is still living with his @zz. I love him like a brother but I wish he'd kick her to the curb.
Sorry about the long story. Your son's story reminded me of it. I hope he and his lady are okay now.0 -
Dheffy & idsman. OH the good ole days!! Also reminds me of past Sister-in-law. Got mad at b/f and took her car and demolished his truck and her car. She spent night in jail and they were back together next day. Go figure. Tom 0 -
Maybe your son isnt the idiot you think.....He MIGHT have just stopped the truck and got out before the arguement got too heated and things said that cant be taken back...
If he is kicking the ground, its a good thing he was out of the truck, cause if he was to take to kicking her, even accidently, well that is trouble....Least the walk helped cool him down a bit...

Believe me, it was all show on his part. He's done this crap all of his life. Little hissy fits rather than just controling himself. This time, someone called his bluff.
He will never hit a woman. His first wife had it coming when he caught he (in the act) with another man. He just likes to put on a show. I've had to call him down on it before because he will even do it with his mother.

In concurrence with others - you can NEVER afford to have a girlfriend or get married. Find a female that charges reasonable, fixed prices, and you'll never be better off. You have to pay for all of them, so it's better to at least KNOW what it's gonna cost.
