Some firearms/calibers evoke strong reactions in me, whether or not I own it/them:

Browning HI-POWER gotta be good.

.38 SUPER want one just 'cause of the name.

.41 ACTION EXPRESS neat combination of words.

.460 WEATHERBY MAGNUM sounds like an elephant gun

Wingmaster what more could be said ??

  For me it would be the diferant names of shooting compatitions:
  
  Speed Challange: It just sounds cool.
  
  High Power: Who wouldn't want to be High Power Champion?
  
  Bullseye: That's what your supposed to get.
  
  Or in guns I love anything named:
  
  Ultra Match: It dosen't get better than Ultra.
  
  Super Match: It sure is super.
  
  International Match: It's so good it'll take on the world.
  
  Gold Cup: The winner always gets gold.

  I'm kind of afraid that my newest acquistition might just "ring my bell"...quite literally. I have not shot the new 2.75" snub nosed (non-ported) .460 S&W yet...I think I'm going to let the wife shoot it first...[;)]
