Prank Callers?
Can you track or trace a number that calls you ID restricted? My brother has been getting pranks from some dumba$$s for a couple days now. He's got about 35 calls saying explict things. Any ideas[?]

Get a caller ID, doesnt matter here, cant find the phone half the time anyways, brothers always on it 0 -
call the phone company and see what they can do, if they can't/won't do anything call the police and see if they can put a trace on the line. other than that, that's about it unless you want to hire a private investigator and have him get the records and what not 0 -
Its on cell phones and we have caller id but they using *67555-5555 which block the number of the incoming caller. 0 -

Contact phone company, harrassing call section. If more than 3 calls, there is a technique, by dialing a sequence the phone compnay will give, that the PHONE COMPANY will have their number (can't block Ma Bell) and then the phone company proecutes them. Usually you will have to agree to prosecute whoever is found with that number (even if it IS your Grandma) 0 -
If they won't help, get one of those air horns people use at ball games and blast 'em in the ear by honking it. They're pretty loud! 0 -

Next time they call answer the phone screaming bloody murder. Scream there is blood everywhere. I can't get it off the walls. Scream loud and make it good and hang up. They will probably move on to someone else after that. We tried to get the phone company to take care of some calls a few years ago but they never did anything. 0 -
In most places you can also restricked you phone to not accept blocked calls. If they block their # they will hear a recording that this # does not accept blocked call and will give them an option to press 1 to unblock the number for that 1 call to allow it to go through. 0 -
*69 might work for you. It may not tell you the number but it should call them back. 0 -
1. call the police
2. call the phone company and ask for who ever handles "harassing/obscene" phone calls, tell them it has been reported to LEO and you will press charges.0 -
Shoot a 22 blank into the mouthpiece of the phone as soon as you answer.
They won't call back any time soon..........0
