I'm partial to the dark wines. Mike finds them to mossy and earthy. Says they taste like dirt. I have no particular favorite, I don't pretend to be a connaisseur.
Most recent find is something called "Nouveaux Beaujolais." Not a bad little bottle of wine for the money.0 -
Berringer white zinfindel is cheaper than bottled water down at the HEB, and it has a cork in it!! 0 -

Wild Irish Rose. It is still 18% here but the MD20/20 has been cut back to only 13%. That really matters to us wineos! Also, you can get WIR in red, white, pink and fortified with ginsing, Tom 0 -

The best Boone's Farm is Sangria 7.9% if I remember correctly.
Also both Wild Irish Rose and Old Duke have been lowered to 13% but there are 19% varieties available of both. Out of the two I always drank WIR white. The red would give wicked hangovers.
But the BEST IS CISCO. Where can I get some in MAINE?0 -
