IF........
I were to purchase a gaming system, which is best right now.
Choose between PS3, Wii, and Xbox.
I doubt that I can buy one, but I plan to sell an unused PS2(no games) and a rarely used PSP, depending on what I recieve for these I may be in the market.
The PS3 interests me with the Motorstorm racing game and I also really like the Final Fantasy games.
The Wii really looks like a cool party machine.
Never really used or heard much on the Xbox.
Anyone have some good input?

I like the X360 myself. 0 -
Xbox. Love the graphics, and halo is a MUST HAVE.
Get a 360 if you can
PS3 is over rated.. and Wii is pretty expensive on games, etc however i believe it can play gamecube games.0 -
If you are around others that have some kind of system that is the way to go. This way you can trade games with people. I had a PS2 at home since some friends of mine had them. Then when I started my new at the time job, everyone had XBOXes so I wasent a very cool kid [:)]. I have not seen or played the PS3 but I have played and seen the other 2. Wii is kinda neat, but seems like the games are pretty limited. The games I have seen are kinda novel but would get boring fast. XBOX 360 is all the XBOX is and way more. 0 -
We've been thinking about getting a WII because the whole family plays together and you have to actually GET UP AND DO SOMETHING...while playing.
It is expensive though and for what it costs we can buy a lot of gas, even at todays prices and a lot of camping supplies.

My son has the PS2, a Wii and an X-Box360.
His favorite is the X-Box. He is 12.0 -
PS3 and XBox are just more of the same. If you did not use the PS2, you will not use them. The Wii, however, is a different animal. You are active, it is very fun in groups and also plays the regular Nintendo games.
Wii hands down!0 -
Do you play online?
Online play, the Xbox360 would win hands down.
If you don't play online I'd say go with the playstation.0 -
I dont play online or plan to. I did use the PS2 but the games I had, I had either beaten or gotten tired of, so they went to Ebay. Just never bothered to hook it up in the new house.
I like racing games and Final Fantasy type games. Not really into first person shooters etc. But I do like the Mario party type games.
I am leaning toward the PS3. Does anyone know if the Wii supports either HD-Dvd or Blu-Ray?0 -
Do not buy one. They'll make your kids stupid. Send them outside and force them to use their imagination. 0 -

Is this just for you or your family with children?
What kind of games do you like?
In general the 360 blows the PS3 out of the water when it comes to games.0 -

The wii does not support any new media, the 360 has a separate drive for playing hd movies.
Playing online with the wii or some ps3 models is as easy as getting a 20 dollar wireless router if you have high speed internet.0 -

The wife and I are buying a Wii as a gift to each other this year. We enjoy playing games togther on the PS2, this will be even more fun as it has the sports games and is more involved. 0 -
The Wii!! You can download ALL Nintendo games! (Or, you will be able to soon) Plus, do you know how cool the interactive remotes are? The rinkie-dink sports game that came with it is funner than most of the games for my PS2. The Wii is the wave of the future.
The Wii might also go HD in the next couple of years.0 -

Has he ever seen the light of day or the dark of night? Ridiculous.
Next time, send the $400.00 to "Feed the Children".0
