Prayers please
My neighbor's daughter lost her fiance in a motorcycle accident on Thursday last week. She is 21 and, as you can imagine, is completely devastated. Her name is Charlotte.
edit: I forgot to add that she has had a lot of health issues and her fiance was very supportive of her. She refers to him as being her nurse. I can only imagine her health is going to go down hill now. She is so terribly heart broken. I only met him a few times but he seemed like a really nice guy. They were living in my neighbor's place (her parents) for a couple months while they got an apartment, and had just started to move into it. Her fiance just got out of the navy. Anyone know if the military gives out ceremonial flags to fiance's? This is so, so sad. The accident happened just down the street from where I go to church.

Prayers sent from here.
My SIL passed away last year from this cancer. She was 45.
Pancreatic cancer is not as well publicized as other cancers but it is by far the deadliest cancer and the most painful, so say the docs.
Sorry, iluvguns...I don't mean to scare you or your family...but my family and I lived through this hell of a disease for months.
I know what you're going through. Hang tuff, be there for your wife.
Best wishes...0 -

Thanks for all the replies. Each one means a lot to my wife and I. It means a lot knowing that in a unique and unusual way all of you are "here" for him and us. Keep the prayers going up, as I am positive there will be rough days ahead.
Dolfan...you aren't scaring me. We know what is coming. I have had people in the churches I pastor die from about any kind of cancer you can name, and it isn't pretty.
Just got home from his house and his attitude is good. Said that the good Lord has given him 14 months since his surgery, and he was grateful for that, and now he will just have to fight a little harder.0 -

My uncle once told me, when my marriage was in dire staits, you have to do three things; "Ask, Believe, Recieve." We are still together. Have faith brother. God can do anything. [:)] 0
