Cool things to do in SC?
Well me and the GF are in Greenvill SC visiting her family. I am trying to find some fun stuff to do here. Next week we go to Myrtle Beach for 3 days so that takes up next weekend. I know there is lots of cool historical stuff to see here but some pointers would be nice. I need to find things that would only take a day to do. Last year we went to Ft Sumtner and to the ship yard there. What can we do this year?

What days are you going to the beach?
I am busy next monday and tuesday but on wednesday if you are around maybe we can get together for a beer or something.
Hell I might even "burn some animal flesh" (BBQ) for ya'll if you came out my way. I am less than an hour from Greenville.0 -
I've always liked Folley Beach and a bottle of wine ...
There's a good plantation tour there - can't remember
the name BUT it was/is the one next to the only
plantation that wasn't raided and burned by the Yankees
(the slaves there convinced the Yankees they were having
a small pox break out - Yankees very cleverly bypassed it),
back in 1865.
It was owned by a minister whose slaves stood by him
(even under torture) and didn't tell where the family
wealth was buried, and in return, he offered them a
place to live forever - the last family finally moved
from there in 1965 (I believe) - interesting story,
beautiful grounds/gardens, a very good tour -
well known by the folks there about in
Charleston.

We are headed there Tuseday night and wont be back untill Saturday night. Then we fly home on Sunday.0 -

Something tells me that the GF wouldn't approve of those. We have been spending a bit of time at the appartment pool and there is some scenery there most of the time [:D].0 -

Eat enough Spam to make a Samoan puke?
Or maybe hunt pigeons with a samurai sword!
