She ate too much, now she's hurting.
Took the grandkids to Whataburger for lunch today. They all made their order, then Sandy ordered, then I submitted mine.
I ordered an A1 Thick and Hearty meal. For those of you who don't have Whataburgers, that's a double meat, 6" diameter burger with A1 sauce, grilled onions, double cheese, bacon, an order of fries and a drink. It's a load![^]
Sherry heard it and wanted to change her order to the same thing. I figured she would get about 1/2 of the burger down before she was stuffed, but no, she ate the whole thing.[:0]
Now she's laying on the couch with a belly ache and groaning. She said it was good, but she wished she had saved some for later.[}:)]
Live and learn![:D]

I've been tempted to try the A1, but every time we go to Whataburger I always order the same, a number 1 Whataburger meal and substitute Onion Rings for the fry's. Maybe next time! 0 -

Try it, it's GOOD! I get mine and add tomatoes and jalapenos because it gives it a little extra kick.
I feel sorry for folks who don't have a Whataburger around![;)]0 -
We have them all over around here.
I don't eat there very often, as I want my blood to be able to continue to flow through my arteries![:D]0 -

I agree! I first discovered Whataburger when I was in the Navy and stationed at NAS Corpus Christi in the 60's! Back then the one I went to didn't offer fries and rings, just a bag of Potato Chips, a bagged marinated Jalape?o pepper, and of course Root Beer. Then it was off to CA for 35+ years and we only got a Whataburger when we came back here on vacation.
However, the company I worked for sent me to San Jose, CA in 1978 to become familiar with the hardware architecture and programming requirements for a Mil Spec computer and while there I was shocked to discover there was actually a Whataburger in that town, the only one to my knowledge ever in CA. Their Whataburger's tasted just like the ones in Texas, but I don't believe they stayed in business very long.0 -

It's a burger place with a drive trough, but they don't cook it until you order it, so it's not like a Jack in the Box or a Burger King. More like an old Dairy Queen.0 -
sounds good, but none around here, if i posted everytime my wife ate to much they would have to add a sub forum 0 -

We don't have a Whataburger here, but you're right, I like'em too.
That reminds me of what happened with one of my nephews once. I took my wife and him to Mayberry's for banana splits. I ordered the "Big Ones" for the wife and him and a "Banana Boat" for myself. When we got them the boy looked disappointed. He said he wanted a "Banana Boat" too. I told him to finish his "Big One" and I'd get him a "Banana Boat". It was a struggle, and it took him a while, but he finished it all except for some of the chocolate syrup. He said he changed his mind and didn't want the "Banana Boat" after all. He spent the rest of the afternoon laying around the house saying "If I could only burp".0 -

1911a1fan,
Didn't mean anything by my reply, I just thought you misunderstood who the one hurting was. Turns out, I was the one who misunderstood. I'm glad you posted, and now that I understand, I see your point.[;)]0 -
The A-1 Thick-n-Hearty is good stuff![:p] 0 -
So's the Triple-Meat Whataburger...
I just don't recommend it unless you haven't eaten the week before getting it![:D]0
