Part Time(kinda) job....
A buddy of mine works at Sportsman's Warehouse in our town. He's dating the GM's Daughter and is in big with him. They need a few knowledgeable guys behind their Gun/hunting/reloading counter. I told them that I work a 3-on 3-off schedule and will work for them if they need. Even if I work 3-on 3-off from there with 8-9hrs a day
I'll get discounts and a little extra income. Wife said I can spend 1/2 on whatever I want and we will invest/save the other half. Plus I get to handle the guns and share my 2 cents about everything. Hell, if I work there for a couple years, I could pay off the cars and really start saving.
I haven't applied yet, just let them know of my interest. Hope I get it. I spend enough time in there as it is, I might as well get paid to do it.

sounds like a fun job!
to help your chances, be aware that employers take into consideration whether you have another job and how much time you put into it.
that's why they usually ask you if you have another job and how many hours a week you work there. they know that you can get burnt out; it would be a risk to hire somebody who's going to be working 7 days a week, or work something like 70 hours between both jobs, and may drop one or the other. vs. someone who doesn't have a job and will rely on them alone for their paycheck.0 -
Nothing helps your prospects like a good attitude. If you genuinely seem like you want to be there and you have the skills they're looking for, you'll get it easy.
Go ahead and put in your application.
And good luck!0
