I have two boys and LEGOS kept (and still does) them entertained for hours. They've came up with some very creative stuff.

    BaSardo,

The plan might work fine unless, of course, the instructions were translated from English to Chinese and back to English.

For example, it is very difficult to build a model car when the instructions say,

Take most honorable tire and promote to wheel. Take wheel and coagulate axle.

"K-NEX" is a very good toy in this respect. When we were little, me and my sister would literally spend days putting together one of the larger kits. The cool thing was that sometimes the instructions would be vague, forcing you to improvise.

I bought Kinex for my youngest this past Christmas....it was the most expensive gift he got.....and not once have I seen him play with them. He likes his bike, and plays on the trampoline, he is getting to the age where he just doesn't have the "free time" that he once did and play time isn't like it used to be.

He likes his video games, but doesn't play them for long periods of time. We are at work, school, traveling back and forth to everything...play time isn't even a thought anymore. Maybe when he was younger we put more thought into what items were best for him to have....but now...I just try to get him SOME of what he wants and make certain he brushes his teeth.

    Spaniel,

I think you're giving some of those translators way too much credit.

It would be more like, "Take four. Hold in thumb and width. Put on always in good nature. Harmonious. Hold back. Enjoy!"
