Ok....forgive my stupidity, but aren't ALL revolvers technically semi-auto?

1 trigger pull = one shot

+1 I would agree. Double action revolvers look like they would be called semi auto.

    Semi automatic pistol sounds redundant.
Come on in EMM and straighten us all out.

The semi auto revolver does not require a trigger pull to turn the cylinder, it is done automiatically by the barrel recoil system..

Gotcha. Understand now. What's the big deal though? It's still the same result as a double action. Just pull the trigger and it shoots.

it would be COOL, how many of your friends have one??
probably lighter trigger and shorter pull, like a single action trigger pull without having to cock the hammer

Not a big deal, I just never heard of one until the Metaba came out and thought it was one weird revolver. I was going through some old gun books and ran across that one and thought it interesting.. Evidently others had never heard of it also by some of the responses. LMAO[:D][:D]

I have a Metaba - 6" - .357 and love it. Sure it's weird - so are many of my pals! One thing not mentioned so far is it fires from the lower chamber. You won't shoot a .357 that has so little muzzle rise after each shot.
