One stood up against the murderer

It shouldn't surprise anyone that the one professor with the chutzpah to so much as lift a finger against the Virginia Tech murderer yesterday morning was a Holocaust survivor. He was shot through the door but continued to hold it closed to prevent the killer from entering his classroom, while his students jumped from the windows.

  I think that it would be a tad disingenuous to call someone a Holocaust survivor if he had been a lifelong American citizen and resident.
