We need to start writing letters
To our reps. Virgina Tech could have been prevented. If only CCW would have been allowed. This is a prime example of gun control at work. It only disarms the law abiding citizens and arms the criminals.
We need to get the word out. CONTROL DOES NOT WORK!!!! and our dumb-azz reps. need to realize that before we see more repeats or this.
My heart goes out to the families and victims of the shooting. Today is a very dark day for American.

You're 100% correct.
We should be WRITING letters. Spend five minutes and 39 cents to do so.
E-mail too often is ignored. Telephone calls accomplish nothing. MoCs pay attention to USPS mail.0 -
I like to add, before I head out the door.
I know it seems cold to already start talking about things like this so shortly after.
My heart really goes out to the victims, but most of us can't do much more to help or change what's happen.
But we can help the next victims, because the next victims maybe us. It maybe our family or friends.
I'm going to write letters like crazy. This should never have happen. The CCW band should never have happened. We can't change the past, but we can control our future.0 -
You haven't started yet,I've been flooding my reps with email letters and phone calls since the bill Hb 1022 was announced.I've done state and federal, and just keep doing it. Many of the people I know here in CT have been doing the same. 0 -
It's not cold or heartless to point out a failure in the system that led to tragedy. Gun control enabled this massacre.
We don't wait five years to diagnose the cause of a plane crash, we don't wait seven weeks to figure out what went wrong in a fire. We act on it immediately so as to prevent another tragedy.
This should be no different.0
