Parkinsons Disease

about two months ago i started feeling numbness and tingling in my hands, then my gait/walking become similar to a drunk, then pain in my bi-ceps and very weak, i was unable to hold even my lightest AR-15 for off hand shooting, i just become very weak and tired easily, my Dr. ordered a series of tests after her early diagnosis of "Parks", i had blood test till i thought i was out of blood [;)] then a series of X-rays, then an EMG (i think that is what it's called) they put patches on me gave me a series of shocks, then came the needle inserted in my skin, finally an MRI..., the diagnosis is "Spinal Stenosis", it is a severly pinched nerve in my neck and i will have to have corrective surgery soon.
i post this in case anyone else has had these symptoms or a preliminary diagnosis of "Parks", get checked as "Spinal Stenosis" such as mine can be severe or mild, do not ignore these symptoms as it only gets worse and can lead to paralysis.

Sorry to hear about your problem. Any problem with the spine is a pretty big deal, but compared to what you thought it was it might not be so bad. Good luck with the surgery. 0 -
THANK YOU all for making my days a little brighter, i just learned yesterday i can not get to see the "best neurosurgeon" west of the continental divide till Oct. 25.

I'll be away for awhile folks, saw the neurosurgeon ystdy. he wants me in the operating room Tues morn. he said i am about 2.5mm from being totaly paralyzed, bone spurs growing into spinal cord op will take abt. 4-5 hrs. and will need blood transfusions during oper.,be in hosp.5-6 days and 6 months recovery no shooting for at least 3-4 months......., i'll check in when i can press the keys once more. 0 -
