It might be an exageration but it is anything but ignorant.

What is ignorant is advocating the use of geographic boundaries to determine the source of consumer goods.

the fact they are quitting firearms has nothing to do with the 2nd amendment,,,they are dropping the fabric deartments in most stores also,,,it has everything to do with profit and avalible floor space and the bullsnot factor,,,I like wal-mart and will shop there most of the time for my staple goods but I do go to a meat market for my fresh meat , people believe places like wallyworld ,lowes or home depot sell different goods than the local mom and pop stores,,,,believe me people its all the same stuff out of the same plants shipped all on the same truck lines ,the price just reflects the difference in volume buying and overhead ,

In the face of dumping, that too is ignorant. Destroy the competition and have it all is the Walmart credo.

Show me evidence of dumping by Wal-Mart. Many have tried and it has not been done. They have been investigated for this many times. It just isn't happening.

Do you even know what dumping is? It is when merchandise is sold for LESS than it is produced. So Wal-Mart would have to buy something for $5 and sell it for $4. Yeah- that is how they made it big[B)]

If there is a store that is dumping the best thing we (as consumers and store owners) can do is to yell out loud and clear for them to keep it up. We will get stuff dirt cheap and they will go out of business. Dumping is GOOD for consumers and businessess.

Think of it this way. You have a store which sells thingamijigs. A competitor opens and starts dumping. The smartest thing you can do is sit back and watch him go out of business. Maybe even go buy up the thingamajigs he is selling (they are being sold for below his cost and most likely your cost as well) buy that stuff up and help him go out of business, then you can sell the thingimigs you bought at below cost and make even more money. You win becuase you got a bunch of thingamijigs for under cost and your competitor goes out of business.

Claims of dumping are such garbage. Dumping does not do a business any good to do it, especially in the long run. It is one of those things there are laws against but the laws are not needed because it doesn't happen. It is a bad business decision to start dumping.

So now you wall argue that Wal-Mart is big enough to absorb the losses of dumping until the small store has to close. Then Wal-Mart will raise their prices to a new high.
So let it happen. When Wal-Mart raises their prices to the new high there will be an excellent opportunity for someone to start a business to compete against Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart can't afford to keep the cycle up-they will go broke.

Dumping is a vicious circle which leads to destruction of the business doing the dumping. It serves no purpose (other than to help consumers and competitors) and is not sustainable as a business model.

Wal Mart doesn't put anyone out of business. American Free Enterprise is built on competition. If you can't compete, you fail. And that is as it should be.

If you don't support and/or shop at Wal-Mart, you are obviously a COMMIE. [^]

    A red pinko commie bastich!

Actually you two are wrong. If you buy at Walmart you are supporting communism, because most merchandise Walmart sell is made in China. Walmart is one of the biggest businesses in China. There is alot of money going there and all this money fuels their economy. I always say that Walmart is only helping China so they can come and kick our ass.

You defined the term Fudd? No you didn't. You just call people a "Fudd" and then insult them by saying they don't know what your made-up term means? Of course they don't know. I don't know either. What I do know is that you're acting like a complete moron here. I have a difficult time understanding many things you have written and agree that you must be drunk and are simply being a belligerent jackass. If you have something inteligent to say, we'd probably listen (but I'm not going to hold my breath waiting to be blessed with your infinite wisdom). [xx(]

Hold on now. I'm not so sure he's acting. [;)] [:D]

This coming from two who, if they put their heads together could at best make an ass of themselves. The word Fudd is not mine, but culled from a board that is a bit more down to earth than this one could ever hope to be. As for your insults, you both bore me.

[That's how he can afford to feed his Class III toys]

There are 300,000 NRA members in PA. Maybe if organizations like that got involved,
there would be some results to a boycott.
