Killed Tom Today

First chance to go hunting this year and bagged this big boy. 22.5 lbs with a 9" beard. First turkey I've ever killed. Never hunted them much, but the sound of a big tom gobbling and watching him come strutting up sure is exciting. I think I've found my new favorite season.











From this pic, you can tell that I took him from the other side of the mountain. [:D]

  The good thing about a head shot is that you will not have that annoyance of biting into a shot pellet when you cook him. [:p]
