saw a track hoe bite it today
while i was working i drove by a guy just getting out of a track-hoe he had managed to drive into a basement during a demolition, man is he screwed, it was on it's side with the tracks stuck end to end inside the foundation, i will take a camera tomorrow, if it is still there i will get a snap shot
go ahead and laugh, no one got hurt {lol}, i thought to myself "that's why they don't use bulldozers on houses that have basements

It is funny, the amazing thing is this type of thing happens all the time and those track hoes just keep on ticking. 0 -

EDIT: Told ya's!0 -
We have a LOT of gas wells around here and I've seen several track hoes on their side or upsidedown in the pits they dig when they drill. They get 'em out pretty quick and on to the next one......sometimes with a new operator.[;)][:D]

A good operator could get that un-stuck. 0 -
I hope you can get pictures. 0 -

A GOOD operator would not have it in there [;)]
If he worked for us he would be looking for a job [}:)]0 -

yep it's a cat, one of the big ones, shame it looks fairly new
not sure about him getting it out by the bucket, it may depend on if anything is broke, it appears to have went down the side of the foundation, i may be wrong on this one, but i not sure the bucket could support the entire weight of the track-hoe, i have gotten myself in some pretty stucky situations with a back hoe, and was able to get out of it, but it weighs nothing compared to a track-hoe0 -
a crack ho would have gotten out. 0 -
...and in.

We used to race a dirt track stock car. The guy that run the track had a old lady that thought she had to be in the middle of everything. Guess what we called her........Yep, the Track Hoe.[:D] 0
